Privacy Policy – VaylesClipr

VAYLESCLIPR - PRIVACY POLICY
Effective November 2, 2026

This policy explains what information VaylesClipr ("we", "us") collects when you visit https://vaylesclipr.app, buy a license, or use the VaylesClipr desktop app, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

1. THE DESKTOP APP

The VaylesClipr app runs on your computer. Your videos, clips, captions and the text you give to its AI features are processed on your computer and are not sent to us. The app has no analytics or tracking of its own and does not report what you do. It keeps a license record on your computer, which includes a hashed identifier of your computer, and checks your key on your computer. When you ask it to, it downloads components, updates, videos and pages from other publishers' servers, or connects to services you choose; those services see your requests under their own privacy policies. See section 9 of the Terms of Service for the full list.

2. WHEN YOU BUY A LICENSE

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us or our servers. Stripe sends us your email address, the plan you bought, and the payment and checkout session IDs.

We store the following in our key database (Cloudflare Workers KV): your email address, the plan, your license key and key ID, the Stripe session and payment IDs, and the time of purchase.

We use this only to: show and email you your key; help you if you lose it; handle refunds required by law, chargebacks and disputes (including disabling a key); keep tax and accounting records; and prevent fraud. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your email address for marketing.

3. EMAIL

We email your key to the address you gave at checkout. These emails are sent through Resend. When you write to vaylesclipr@vaylesclipr.app, the message is received through Cloudflare Email Routing and delivered to our Gmail inbox, and we keep it as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the support request.

4. THIS WEBSITE

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site. The pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and the site does not set tracking cookies.

The free web version (Studio) processes your videos in your browser. Your videos are not uploaded to us. Its processing code loads from the jsDelivr content network.

Links from the site to other websites and social platforms are governed by those sites' own policies.

5. WHO ELSE SEES YOUR INFORMATION

Only the service providers that run the things above: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, key database, email forwarding), Resend (sending email), and Google (Gmail and Fonts). They process information for us under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, for example in a payment dispute. We do not sell or rent personal information.

6. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

We keep purchase records for as long as your license is valid and then for as long as needed for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute purposes. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve the request.

7. YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Email vaylesclipr@vaylesclipr.app and we will respond. We may need to keep some records to meet legal obligations, and deleting a purchase record can mean we can no longer help you recover a lost key.

8. SECURITY

Payments go through Stripe. Our license keys are digitally signed, our secrets are stored encrypted by our hosting provider, and the site is served over HTTPS. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. CHILDREN

VaylesClipr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. WHERE INFORMATION IS PROCESSED

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

11. CHANGES

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
